The land, the people, the why

Come back to the version of you underneath all the noise.

Freedom Valley is a retreat, a special space for connection, creativity, depth, exploration, self growth and discovery. It lives at the meeting point of land, craft and circle.

We hold a number of different gatherings on a regular basis: sacred circles for men and women, workshops in permaculture and food forest design, regenerative alternatives, survival skills, martial arts and combat, art, craftsmanship in wood and metal, self sufficiency and primal skills, instrument collaboration, and poultry processing.

We also grow our own organic produce on site, slow, honest food we take pride in. The garden teaches what the workshops put words to.

Our intention is to allow each individual to express their authentic self without judgement, and to feel free in that.

To experience what true existence entails. To find out the truth that this society has held us back and suppressed our innate abilities. That truth is not a slogan. It's something you remember in your body when you sit in a circle, when you swing the axe, when you pull the first carrot of the season.

You arrive as you are. That is the only requirement.

Stage one.

What you're seeing is the beginning.

These first frames are the valley as it stands today, raw ground, early paths, the bones of what's coming. We're sharing it unfinished on purpose. The point isn't to show you a polished retreat; it's to invite you into something still being built.

  1. Now

Walking the land, listening to it, holding the first circles.

  2. Soon

Food forest, workshop spaces, the first proper gatherings.

  3. In time

A living retreat the valley itself shaped, with us inside it.

Walk it with us →

From above.

The valley, as it really sits.

Drone frames of the land as it is today, treelines, paddocks, the bones of where each gathering, garden and fire circle will live. We'll keep adding to this reel as the shape of the valley reveals itself.
